Does anyone know which council department is responsible for the removal of overhanging branches on the pavement? Don't fancy being passed around the entire council to complain about them in Honor Oak. Especially as now they cut out light on pavement and so can't see them at night.

The Council Department you need to contact is the Environment. They can be reached by phone at 0208314 7171, or by fax at 0208314 3128-where in Honor Oak is the overhanging tree problem?

But which side of the road? If it's the side of the church and the station then that's Southwark Council. Main number 7525 5000.

Complaints like this can be registered with Lewisham Council via the website.

Not much use if the tree is Southwark's responsibility is it?

Perhaps Lambeth and Greenwich have this facility too! Please tell!
