Hello. I am on the verge of moving to Devonshire Road, up towards the middle, and was wondering about the relative safety for walking from F.Hill station late at night? Thanks. |

I've lived a road off Devonshire Road for three years and walk home from the station every night, I've never had any problems, seen anything odd or felt too nervous - I think as long as you're sensible, i.e. be aware of who's behind you, don't wear headphones etc you'll be fine. Saying that one of my neighbours had her bag snatched just after Xmas - although since then there's been a definite increase in the number of police patrolling, I think where ever you are in any city there'll be a certain amount of that stuff happening, sad but true. |

I've done that walk a fair few times late at night and have never had any problems. I'm sure you'll be fine so long as you abide by the standard rules as mentioned by the previous poster. |
