In response to increasing requests, and to make sure the se23.com forum remains a useful tool for the local area, it has been decided to extend the wording of guideline 1. It now reads:

"1. Messages must relate to community issues in the SE23 area, and be relevant to the subject of the thread in which they are posted."

Therefore, please ensure that messages are posted in the relevant threads, as off-topic posts will have to be deleted from now on.

As a reminder, a new thread can be easily created by scrolling to the bottom of the list of existing ones, and clicking the button marked "Create new conversation".

Your co-operation is greatly appreciated.

Whilst I admit that some of the posts are a bit silly and just consist of me, Dave, TJ etc taking potshots at eachother, they are also interspersed with a number of good comments about life in FH. I can understand your policy on refusing posts recommending local businesses, but if you start removing posts that you, or that annoying mj character, deem 'off topic', then where do you draw the line?

I think the web master has been surprisingly tolerant - obviously they enjoy our witty exchanges but I wont be provocative and ask what side of the tracks they are from
