Is it me, or has this paper just started to be delivered to the FH manor?
I've read it a few times and whilst it says 'Lewisham and Catford edition' on the front, half the news seems to be from Greenwich of all places! Very very very few mentions of LB Lewisham in it. Or am I reading the wrong pages? |

Prefer the Posh Estate Press myself, as it keeps me up to date on the latest exploits of Linda Barker, Captain Peacock, the Chuckle Bros and Blakey from On the Buses ('I'll get you, Butler'...Hilarious - they don't make 'em like that anymore.) It also serves as a useful guide to who's who in the pressure cooker that is the FH badminton circuit with regular match reports and analysis - apparently, Dave fancies himself as a bit of a John McEnroe and can regularly be found swearing at all and sundry when things don't go his way. |
