Councillors, the news about all these shop closures is depressing! Is this a natural evolutionary change for business or is something bad going down for Forest Hill?
Time you had your own conversation thread so that you can tell us all what's really going on economics wise for Forest Hill, and why it looks so gloomy here whilst Sydenham, Penge and East Dulwich, are thriving.

Is there any news on the Sainsbury front - a timeline would be good.

What are the plans for Forest Hill by the council - there was a consultation with the locals last year but what has happened to that. Is there a longterm plan?

If these plans / strategies are available how will they be communicated to the locals?

The next meeting of the Forest Hill Steering Group starts at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 16th September at Forest Hill library - information gleaned from the Summer 2004 edition of the Sydenham Society newsletter in our library’s news-stand.

Hi thanks for this. Is there an agenda for this meeting? Can anyone attend?
