Kia Ora Greetings from New Zealand. A friend who owns a secondhand shop in a very small seaside town in New Zealand came across some sketchings and water colours in a locked trunk of the Titanic and Cedric, the two famous ships that were sailing from England around 1912. There were also several other water colours of sail boats with gaff rigs and dock yard workers of around that era. Out of curiosity we were wondering is any of you know of this artist. On the back of one of the paintings was an address J.B. Taylor, 64 Vancouver Rd, Forest Hill, London. S.E. Would love to hear from you. Kathy Gilbert kathyg@xtra.co.nz |
