Potential - judging from the lack of response, I would guess you didn't, in the end? |

Put in an offer, but survey wasnt up to scratch...still looking in the area though. Spoke to a few people about the area who were also thinking of buying in the area but were put off by the lack of a decent local pub on the high st - my experience of equal was that it was a bit pricey and lacked atmosphere. thanks for the replies |

You should stay in Honor Oak - much nicer part of FH. |

Compared to where? The terraces around the station are pretty grotty. |

I agree - HOP has much more potential - not disected by the south circular, not impossible to park, much less grafitti generally and seems much cleaner and safer generally. However I guess it depends what you are after doesnt it? |

Unfortunately, I agree with Sally. Hilltop, we're not really in a position to argue and we shouldn't split hairs about it. The back exit to the station resembles a rubbish tip. It's a hell of lot more leafier in HOP and yep - they don't have the south circular going thru the high st. I wanted to buy there but prices are too high so moved to FH. Don't get me wrong - I do love FH though! Forest Hill needs a jolly good spring clean and the 'yoot' need to treat the area with a bit more respect... |
