Why I voted for Who

I have decided to mention the reason for why I have voted for the candidates I have, in the hope that the in-coming party can see what the point of our votes are and the out-going party can understand where they have gone wrong. I need to realise an expression of democracy at the least, there seems to be no hope other wise. It may be wrong to use a vote as a bomb to clear the ground but how else are we going to get those politicians to listen. For the election of the local assembly I voted Liberals and then Greens. To date I had voted Labour but the big picture is Iraq and although record numbers of us protested against the invasion the Labour party still went for it, WE ALL HAVE OUR OPINIONS ABOUT THIS SUBJECT AND THIS SHOULD NOT BE THE PLACE TO ARGUE THEM. Besides it is not just then when there were no ears to the Labour party. That’s the big picture but on the local level who governs Lewisham council? And how long has Forest hill been the way it is? Once every few years the council feed us with hope of improving our social living standards and we stay quiet for a while.
It would be good if anyone can give the reason for voting who they did.

I agree with I with some of the things that he or she says but not when he mentions Iraq.
This is NOT a local issue .

In response to 'i', if that's the way you feel, why don't you stand for Lewisham Council?
