On 3 days last week I noticed different cars with smashed windows parked on Sydenham Rise. I presume the car drivers are visiting Hornimans, and some criminal is taking advantage of this, so just be warned. |

and also after looking at that web address which turns out to be a very long winded way of printing off a message saying there is no valuables in this car is really totally unhelpful.
Another car was damaged at the weekend on Westwood Park, it had been attacked by a large water melon and apart from the mess had an expensive dent on the wing. Local gossip has it that a few teen/kids near the Hornimann like to damage cars but I don't have any more info, about as much use as the sticker I'm afraid. |

Please explain how a large melon has attacked a car.
I should imaging that someone actually threw it on the car.
As for the anti-theft notices posted earlier, have a little think about how you quantify such a statement and then get back to me.

Yes it looked like the melon had been thrown at the car with some force.
Your printed notice is a great idea, put it in your window, the thieves read it then think um I won't smash into this car window because it says thay have no valuables. I wish life was so simple. |

If the point of vandalising cars is not for valuables, but for "the hell of it", I would think that any sign would be an absolute inticement to this sort of person. |
