Help Required Please. My daughter has recently moved to Sunderland Road and from time to time I drive down from the Midlands to visit. My problem is that she has no car parking facilities at her flat and having had my car vandalised on 2 prior occasions in and around London I am loathed to leave it parked on the road at night. I was wondering if anyone on, or within a few minutes walk(I'm a tad arthritic!) of Sunderland Road has a driveway or any off road space where I could park? I usually visit once every six weeks or so and stay for a couple of nights max. I realise parking space is at a premium and would be only too happy to pay any reasonable amount as and when necessary. I can't help you but I can let you know that when my parents visit they park on Rockbourne Road behind the Railway Telegraph. And a friend used to park there regularly too. Neither had any trouble in three years. Forest Hill is great don't you know. |

I agree. I live quite near Sunderland Rd and we have people park on our street all the time. We've never had a problem. Touch wood, five years running. |
