Does anyone know of any charity collections in the SE23 area. I have had a clear out and have several bags of books, toys etc. My only problem is that not having a car it is difficult to drop these off at a charity shop. |

Josie - there are often bin liner bags dropped off through letter boxes in our area (Perry Vale/Woolstone end) collecting for charity. They note the day of the week they'll be back to collect. Possibly mainly for clothing but am sure other things are welcome. One thing to look out for is whether they are "proper charities", some seem to be ones that make a profit from any items donated. Unfortuntaely I don't know whether these collections are scheduled on a regular basis. |

Can't somebody offer to give Josie a lift to the Red Cross shop on London Road? I could probably offer on Saturday, if they are open then and if it is convenient. Send me an email if you would like me to help out. michael@foresthillsociety.com |
