In keeping with the excellent Tewksbury Lodge Crime Cascade can we start a similar one for Honor Oak Park? All crime, no matter how minor should be reported as I am told that the number of crimes including minor opportunist ones are registered by the police and contribute to a 'points system' that warrants extra measures and funding for cctv and extra police. I have had reason to be a little more concerned of late and thought a thread on individual incidents would help to build up a general picture of the area for reference for police meetings etc... Please try to report all incidents directly to the police in the meantime. |

Week ending 15th July : Early hours Sunday Four/Five youths hanging around the bus stop jumped into a car in the early hours of the moring and mugged the occupant of his possessions, they were chased and between us and the police all items were recovered, the hoodies got away. |

Week ending 8th July 2007: 12.30 in weekday : A group of youths with striped hoodies waiting at the Old Bank bus stop ran upto a securicor guard outside the cash point and grabbed hold of a significant 5 figure sum of cash from their hands. They were not chased and they got away. Not sure if they were the same youths as later incident |
