I believe it was one of the artists that work/live on Havelock Walk whose surname is Chisohlm (I forget her first name but remember this as it is a name I know from my in-laws in Canada and it turns out there is a connection there). I think it is a little disturbing though. Don't you? Not sure what the symbolism of chucking a dummy/person out of a window might imply?! |

In the usual fashion, I gather that the next Open Studios event in Havelock Walk will be held in two weeks time on the 30th of June and 1st of July - according to: http://www.havelockwalk.com/index.html (I only found this out when I was happening to search for Elisabeth Chisholm's first name) For the record, I have no connection with them (although I have bought several things over the last couple of years) but it always seems worth publicising the event as they put lots of effort into opening but not necessarily getting the word out that the event is happening!! I hope that SE23.com readers will be well represented on the day. No pressure to buy, but it is important to show interest and support in what I still think is one of the true differentiators Forest Hill has over any other part of London. A true creative hub right in the centre of town. |
