If any of you frequent the Honor Oak Sports Ground near the station (or are unfortunate enough to be regular visitors to the cemetery there), you'll have noticed that the car park has become a location unit for a film. It seems the actual filming is taking place at the Guy's Hospital Sports Ground, Stillness Road. And the name of the film is "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a day." For more information, you can take a look at this website. http://www.movieweb.com/news/91/19191.php |

is that the same reason that the Rivoli Ballrooms are so busy and have been all week? certainly looks like a major investment is going into filming something there. |

Can't imagine there are two feature films being shot at the same time in the area! Maybe my sources were misinformed about the sports ground....Rivoli sounds a likely location for a 1939 film. |

I drove past the Rivoli at 6.45am yesterday and it was busy then; look forward to seeing whatever is being made. |

The Rivoli is frequently used for filming. I think its price is more economic for filming as it is a small ballroom. It was the Paradise Club on the BBC. |

One of the staff there told us he saw Rachel Hunter filming a modelling assignment there. |
