This Sunday 15th April, Nick Pond (who's in charge of nature conservation in Lewisham) will be leading a guided tour of the Devonshire Road Nature Reserve. It's a great opportunity to explore this beautiful, secluded spot and learn about the rich biodiversity that SE23 enjoys. Iris Borger will also be on hand to talk about wildlife gardening. We're even promised refreshments! Meet at 2pm in the classroom. We look forward to seeing you there.

The entrance to the nature reserve is approximately opposite Tyson Road and it looks like being great weather for being outdoors this weekend.

Don't forget to join us this Sunday for a dose of sunshine and green things to look at. I don't think the weather forecast could be better at 24 degrees

Families are welcome, although some of the paths are not suitable for buggies.

Sounds great. Count me in.

Think we can beat the record numbers on Steve Grindlay's walk?

Thank you to Nick Pond and the team at the Devonshire Road Nature Reserve for a fantastic afternoon in the glorious sunshine. Very informative and inspiring. And thanks to Iris Borger for organising the wonderful cakes and drinks.

I echo everything Liz says above. It was a very nice afternoon. Thanks to all who took the time and effort to run the tour! I don't remember the exact day of the open days (first or last Sunday of every month..?), but urge other SE23er along to have a look.
