Does anyone know an estate agent who can sell a house in Catford for less than a percentage fee of 1.8% + VAT?
On a property worth £300,000 this commission works out at £6,345! |

I successfully sold through Property Broker a few years back. For a fee of approx £500. Not sure what they charge now.

Try Tesco. I hear they have entered the fray.
GBP 6345.00 is only GBP 5400.00 to the agent ( Mr Darling gets the balance ). You have to look at what they are doing for this and the service they do , or do not , give.
I believe in London still a sellers market so you could advertise yourself locally . When it becomes a buyers market then agents more important. |

Try haggling!!! Believe me, if the agent does the maths and thinks the property will sell quickly, they'll budge. |
