I take it by the lack of response that;

1) No one has read this post in fear of the ending being disclosed.
2) Everyone has read it and everyone is completely disgusted with my failed attempt at being funny.
3) Everyone has left Forest Hill to go on holiday or are off having a life.....
4) No one gives a flying broomstick about Harry Potter....

which one is nearer the mark?

I think everyone is sitting in their favourite chairs reading it! Only I'm not as my daughter has first dibs.

The rumour was that it would be Harry Potter.
This is a device used by authors to close the series and prevent others from ghosting more (inferior) stories.

I know now too, as flipped through the book at WH Smiths - but I'm not telling either! There are seemingly a range of clever devices used by authors to prevent ghosting etc...
