There's a newish (perhaps been there 6 months?) shop selling Chinese, Korean and Japanese food opposite the cricket pitch next to Catford Bridge station. It's a tiny shop with a fraction of the selection you'll find in some of the supermarkets in in Chinatown and elsewhere but they do have most basics at similar prices, and the woman who runs it is friendly and very keen to advise on what things are and how to use them. |

I've been in that Chinese shop. The woman is lovely, she gives free cookery lessons and advises on ingredients etc, she's great. Reasonable prices too. |

And I believe she is also running the East London Line (according to the Mail). On a more sensible note there is a Thai supemarket in Crofton Park. Only problem is you end up buying too much and stuff goes off - unless you are into batch cooking and freezing. |

Perhaps she is also digging the tunnel form Catford to the Bakerloo line at the Elephant & Castle! |
