Hi,
I want to replace my naffy concrete path with a replica of the original black and white (and red?) mosiac tiled path in front of our victorian house. Does anyone know of a local company that can help? Has anyone else done this?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Be interested to hear if you have any luck with this (either via the forum or any other means).

We had a similar issue last year - the mosaic had been removed from our house and replaced with big plain tiles and they were coming away. Unable to replicate the original, we wound up with red quarry tiles - which sort of match, but aren't nearly as nice as the mosaic would have been.

Good luck!

There is a builder creating a new house in a traditional style to fit in with the road in Brockley.

I saw them deep in conversation and contemplation over the neighbouring houses' mosaic paths. If they have not yet laid it they may well be planning to. You could always drop by and ask there. It is at the end of Drake Road.

Haven't used anyone yet, but have a couple of firms that I'll will be contacting once we get in to our new place in a weeks time (both found using yell.com):

Will gladly feedback how I get on, but in the meantime look forward to hearing how your search goes if you get there before me.

On the other hand, do contact me for a cautionary tale if you are planning to use a certain joker who advertises in SE23 Living.

For a dodgy builder (and how to report them) look at this link:

fyi
4m sq path costs anything from 1300 to 2500, for a simple b&w design using new versions of the old tiles.
We are using someone from Hither Green, who happens to be the cheapest! Will let people know how he works out, if you are interested - just let me know.

Thanks for all advice.
