Or perhaps "silva tumulosus lacus"!

My suggestion would be 'Balneae Collis Silvestris' - or perhaps 'Balneae Collissilvestrenses' sounds more idiomatic?

I'm a bit disturbed by the number of posters who seem to be planning on visiting our nice news pools with a bar of soap in hand. Or would that be an amphora of oil and a scraper?

I'm not a fan of the sign, the wave bit is clumsy and unnecessary. But there is nothing wrong with capital letters on buildings.

I agree that the bold lettering is OK and that the waves going round the corner are a bit weird, but what I don't get is the way it has been applied.
The mounting rails are as prominent at the graphics. Surely that's not right? It looks ridiculous.

Of course not, Michael, I'm sure you're just being your usual quirky self.

V impressed with the scholarly input here.

My best effort is Balneae Chlorineinae Childbombsplashiensis. And I can't wait!

Well, some people have got into a 'right lather' over the pools so I'd have thought taking some soap in to the pools would be entirely appropriate.

I was at Forest Fest yesterday where the swimming pool had a stand. I asked them and they said there have been delays and it likely to be the end of July, My money is on the 26th of July.

Hi poolsneighbour,

Don't be too sad. If opened in July, this project would be delivered few months ahead of Sep 2012, the official opening date.

On a personal note I can't wait for it to open either.

Will the learner pool be available for pool parties as happens at some other centres?

Scrap that...just found the pool timetable so I can see that there are some slots.
