Dongle, I dont just jump in. Measure the threat and respond in an appropriate manner.

Both were about 16 to 17, the larger one was about 6 foot 4 but very skinny and the other was on the scooter. When they decided to stick it out and fight it was very much bravado, the lanky lad with the chain was very obviously not keen on the altercation and I was quite determined.

Had either of the had any more threatening weapons i.e. screwdriver, knife I would have been running away yelling like a little girl.

I did know however that my wife was on the phone to the police, I was motivated, the yoof were less than motivated and, although it was years ago, I am ex Military Police.

Videoing sounds like a good idea but given the quality of most phones, the fact that in order to video them I would be within striking range anyway and finally, they had a helmet and hood on. Great for Youtube but useless for the police.
