Does anyone know anything about Crofton Leisure centre on Manwood Rd?
I saw this on my rather old map and found the address and telephone number online. I phoned and the number doesn't exist anymore. I'm assuming that the place has now closed!?

I think it has been demolished and replaced by Prendergast Ladywell Fields School.

thats a shame! Great to have the school obviously, but it would have been a very handy leisure centre!

When they rebuilt the school they promised the local community at the planning meeting (I was there) that once it was finished we could use the leisure centre in the evenings. This hasn't happened though. I don't know why.

It is used on Saturdays for the music school though.
