The Forest Hill and Sydenham Societies are holding an event on the 21st September to find out about Neighbourhood Plans and as part of this to start thinking about what is great about the area and how it could be improved.
The event will be at The Hob (opposite Forest Hill station) between 7.30pm and 9pm and we want those interested in Forest Hill, Sydenham or Perry Vale to come along and listen to short talks about Neighbourhood Planing and Localism and contribute to lively debate on the merits of the area and developing a vision for its future.
Basically this event is for people who have bits of Forest Hill/Perry Vale/ Sydenham/Honor Oak that they love, bits that they think could be better and bits that you just downright hate.
We want to find out what these are, any ideas for making things better and also to make sure we are all well informed about new ways that we can get these ideas set into planning policy.
This is very much the start of process with no fixed outcome at the moment. It depends who comes, who is interested and where we all want it to go......
Just a reminder that this meeting is taking place this evening. If you are interested in how the local community can have more of a say in planning and development policy in the local area, this will be an interesting meeting for you.
