No, I don't think its you, but it does seem that the minute the sun comes out and people start opening their windows, they notice the noise more.
I do agree that some planes have been flying unusually low recently- I saw one on Saturday looming particularly large over the Tewkesbury Lodge area. As you say, it was probably having a close dekko at the lovely Horniman Gardens.
