Interesting ...I attended FHS from 1959 and don't recall a Peter Walsh...perhaps at my advanced age the memory is failing !
Mr Howard was headmaster when I joined and within two years or so Mr Potter took over.
Excellent Music dep't in my early years ...A E Kemp,Mr Collins ..very good school choir which certain masters also took part in (Mr Simmons,woodwork teacher,Mr Stanbury and others)
The School Orchestra was also pretty good and when the two came together at concerts in the School hall with the domed roof the results were often very good indeed,
When the School was situated in Brockley it was particularly well known for its Music dep't ..I think a certain Mr Sampson was running it in those days.Mr Harvey, appropriately enough, was also involved
Does anyone know why they have demolished the library which once stood proudly and formidably at the front of the school.This particular section was a significant feature
I have good memories of this school..particularly in my early years there
