The London Bridge trains WERE running on Saturday. They're not running today because of bridge works at Norwood.

It IS annoying that it happening so often, but to be fair to TfL, if you check their website you can check future dates. I've just checked for next weekend and at the moment it looks like the Overground is running on our line, with planned closures on the Clapham part of the line. I get the TfL emails as well, which arrive mid-week, which isn't always early enough. I haven't been in the station for a while, so I don't know what information is available there, but it would be useful if they put up a poster when they know there are going to be a string of closures, giving all the dates AND sent out a special email for those of us who only use the station occasionally but still need to know.
