is it just me, or is WH Smith by Forest Hill Station about 100 times shabbier and grottier than any other WH Smith?

Does anyone know if they are deliberately running it down, or is it just badly managed?

Personally, I would hate to see it go - I use it quite a lot, newspapers, comics for the kids, the odd book - but the grimy carpets and surly staff are doing all they can to put me off!

I am a relative newcomer, has it always been like this??
