I saw this happen. I heard the car coming down Dartmouth Road so fast I knew it wouldn't be able to stop. Instead it swerved to the other side of the road and hit the two girls. I was so relieved when I saw them get up. They, or any number of the many people around, could have been killed. It was a horrible thing to see and must have been horrific for the victims.

It was heartwarming to see the response from everyone though - taking care of the girls and stopping the car / taking photos. I didn't see a passenger leave the car and I'd be amazed if no arrest was made since the driver was forced to drive into the station car park. He certainly didn't get away.

He was driving in an insane way, in a packed high street.
