For a short period of time there were major road works on Cranston Road between Loxton and the traffic lights making that part of the road one way going away from the lights. You could turn left into Cranston from Loxton for residential access.

I would say that traffic has been heavy for a number of years now, although there do seem to be less lorries coming down.
