I walk to the shops from the Perry Vale car park quite frequently. Even more frequently when the butchers was open. It only takes an extra few minutes to walk through the underpass and then I go up and down London Road then up and down Dartmouth Road and back to the underpass. The only problem is that 30 minutes free in the car park is usually not quite enough and I usually pay the £1.40 to make sure I don't get a ticket. An hour free would be ideal.

Perryman - I'm a little confused by your suggestion, unless I'm not reading it right. There is no right hand turn out of Dartmouth Road, just left or straight ahead. I don't see how stopping people going straight ahead will make any difference to the flow on Dartmouth. It would potentially remove a phase for traffic coming out of London Road, but that's the one part of the junction that flows pretty well.
