Just wanted to post a quick and very public thank you to some of the members of this great forum.
The past week has been a true eye opener for me, and I have had the privilege to finally meet some people from here. Its been a long time in the making, but I am so very glad it happened.
So I just wanted to share my thoughts of the past few days with you all, and do it justice rather than the 5 min ramble I made earlier.

Thank you Snazy, that is inspiring reading.
What next - are there more, similar events going on, with opportunities to volunteer?

Thank you, hope it wasn't too boring or egotistical to read.
As for what's next, that is a good question, I am looking into what I can do and speaking to people about good sources of info on who needs what etc.
Would love to keep up momentum.

I'll post a new thread. Volunteers in SE23, and if everyone asks weekly or so whats going on it should make everyone aware of whats going on in the area and also post what help is needed.
Fingers crossed hope this works!
