Stockwell I used to live on Lansdowne Green Estate which strangley is near Lansdowne Way & Hartington Road, it is probally nearer Vauxhall, yet when people asked, I always said I lived in Stockwell...

Bit surprised that the Council have not introduced parking permits, be a bit of a money spinner for them, I know that in many other Boroughs in London, almost every road/street has parking restrictons...

As Roz posted, there are a few muggings, break ins etc, yet for my money, Forest Hill/HOP and surrounds are without doubt, some of the best/safest places in London to live
