Thanks! Found a nice walk near Croydon last weekend; Selsedon Woods. Very quiet, five open meadows and lots of peaceful woodland to explore. Well worth a Sunday drive.

Like Dartmouth Arms a lot too. Their sister pub The Dolphin in Sydenham is very good too and has a gorgeous sun trap of a garden which I intend to fully utilise more this year (at this rate in August)...
