Consider this. The economy now has zero growth. It may be that if the Council does not commit to this project soon, it may not be able to provide the funding required.

There are no Labour councillors in Forest Hill. Now there is a preservation order on these buildings Mayor Bullock can spend the money in an area where he does have supporting councillors.

Lewisham Council has received expresions of interest in building the new pool/s from 14 builders. Hopefully, work will start soon.

I think this level of use is a consequence of the closure of other swimming pools. We used to have Ladywell Baths and swimming pools at Downham. I don't know if the Bridge is still open.

It would seem to be sensible to increase the number of carriages on the mainline trains until the ELL opens.

I suggest you contact the BBC or ITV London Tonight and ask for a camera crew to come to the station one morning to record the sight of paying passengers unable to board the train.

The 23.04 from Charing Cross last night was only 4 carriages and was absolutely packed.

New Cross Gate seems to be a logical station for fast trains to stop to connect with the ELL and ultimately Canary Wharf.

The trains go through Joan Ruddock's constituency. But she has a safe Labour seat. Jim has a marginal seat, which he normally holds because he looks after the voters.

I thought that mainline trains were every ten minutes. But I missed the 18.32 from Brockley and the next one was 18.50.

Thameslink trains are going to be built by Siemens and not by Bombardier. Does this make any difference to us?

I don't think we will get the Bakerloo extension into Forest Hill as we have the Overground. As I live between Forest Hill and Catford any improvement to the Catford Bridge line would be beneficial...
