The reason Southern can claim that 90% of the trains are on time is that the figures only relate to a proportion of their total services. They only have to refer to the punctuality of peak hour trains...

I moved to Forest Hill at the end of 1988 and the Swiss Cottage was still standing then but I don't think it was open. I seem to recall it was demolished a couple of years later.

There is definately a vast difference between investigation by Thames Water and the actual repair. It is now two weeks since the Sunderland Rd leak was investigated and the spot marked with blue paint...
