Lewisham planning say that no application is necessary for work to hedges. A quarter of the hedge has gone already. Oh well.

I certainly hope it's just receiving a trim. The fencing on the Sunderland Road side just looks terrible. :thumbdown:

This beautiful long hedgerow is covered in signs reading 'major tree works' and parking is suspended along the road this morning. I imagine that it's all going to be removed and replaced with nasty fe...

Lovely parkland in the heart of Kate Bush country, with decent car-parking, and a friendly cafe with plenty of outdoor seating looking southwards down the hill.

Looks generally better on the turn in the road... but yes, some trees would soften the street landscape somewhat. Now... where's that controlled pedestrian crossing?....

I wish this area could be pedestrianised. The 'heart' of the so-called town will never be up to much as long as the S. Circular thunders through it. It could make a great new focus for Forest Hill.

A community garden?? Right, somewhere else for the yoofs to hang around and the rest of us to give a wide berth to. Decent quality housing would be my preference.

Wonder if they have plans to improve the carpark? Thre doesn't appear to be any walkways for people and their trolleys. Unpleasant staff roaming around in groups, foul language. Won't use the place...

Any area that has a larger amount of hydroponics outlets than you'd expect, tend to indicate an area with 'farms.'
