Hi, as I was preparing an exam, I contacted several local libraries and to my amazement, they all turn out not to have a toilet. The same apply to the Dulwich library. I know it might sound irrelevant but if you want to spend 6-8 hours studying that you might need to use a toilet once or twice. When I asked why they all mention problems with vandalism, and the worst comment they gave me was "you can use the public toilets near the station". Yeah right, very nice and close. Wouldn't you expect a better service than this? Does any of you know of any public or private libraries in the SE23 area? Thanks |

Forest Hill library on Dartmouth Road is next to Forest Hill pools. I don't know if the library has toilets but maybe they would let you use the loos at the public swimming pools? |

If you use the library in Laurence House, you may use the toilet nearby. |

The reference library at The Horniman has recently moved out of the basement into the environmentaly designed building by the gardens. It offers very pleasant surroundings conducive to study, and has access to the museums toilets. Books are admittedly quite specialised, but it always strikes me as a very underused resource, and you may find it helpful. |

Bosco, they told me they no longer let people use the toilets at the public swimming pools. I should go and check at the Horniman's. Thanks andre |
