I've heard on the grapevine that there is one planned, but can't find out any information. Does anyone know anything about this? |

I don't know about Sunderland Road but there was a planning application for one on Church Rise about 2 years ago. The property was sold but nothing hapened until recently, but they are now working very substantially on it, so it could be that one. I think it is Number 1 Church Rise |

Thanks Rob- if the owners/managers are reading this, perhaps they could post details and information about waiting lists, etc and how to apply. |

I think they are still building their new roof - so I doubt it somehow. This is the link I remember: http://acolnet.lewisham.gov.uk/LEWIS-XSLPagesDC/acolnetcgi.exe?ACTION=UNWRAP&RIPNAME=Root.PgeResultD etail&TheSystemkey=41308 |

Dear Roz Its Bojangles Nursery on Upland Road that is opening a new nursery on Church Rise, but only for 3-18 months old babies. You can get an application form directly from Bojangles. Its due to open in a months time I believe |

At risk of starting a completely separate debate, is there a market for nursery places for 3 month old babies? That seems rather small to me. I would have assumed that there was a greater call for nursery places *from* 18 months upwards... |

... although to add to that last post, I'd like to wish all the best to the new nursery. It will be good for both parents and children if there are more quality options in SE23, and great to see another business starting up locally. |

Maternity pay used to run out after 3 months - this went up to 6 months a few years ago and (earlier this year) to 9 months so perhaps there is less demand for child care for babies less than 9 months old now? |

This is great news! There is definately a market for a nursey that caters for babies from 3 months up! |
